The head of the region also mentioned that the security threats in the region have been addressed to revive the mining sector, with investors showing interest in gold, coal, and iron ore exploration.
The lodges and resorts constructed by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed are playing a significant role in boosting tourism in the area, according to Desta.
New tourist destinations have not only attracted more visitors but also opened the door to stimulate hotel and tourism investment in the region.
Due to the favorable conditions and potential resources, the government encourages investors to engage in the investment sector of their choice.
