MOGADISHU, Somalia – The Cabinet of Ministers of Somalia has banned the meetings of government agencies held outside the country, according to a statement issued by the council.
The decision was made at Thursday’s meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in Mogadishu, chaired by Prime Minister Hama Abdi Barre, after the proposal of the Ministry of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development.
The council justified this decision “since our country has recovered in terms of security and development, and there is no need for foreign countries to hold meetings to discuss Somalia.”
The meeting of the Council of Ministers was also presented with reports related to the public security of the country, with the council mentioning “the importance of working closely with the security agencies and the Somali people, to prevent the enemy’s plot” during this time of the month. blessed Ramadan.
On the other hand, the Council of Ministers approved the Official Data Bill and the Agreement between the two countries of Somalia and the United Arab Emirates regarding the protection of double taxation and the prevention of tax evasion.
