Mogadishu, (SONNA)-: The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, On Wednesday met with the European Union Ambassador to Somalia, Tiina Intelmann, and discussed EU’s support for development projects in Somalia.
Prime Minister Barre emphasized the importance of aligning development projects with the government’s current priorities, particularly the stabilization of these liberated areas and the provision of basic services to local communities.
During the meeting, Ms. Intelmann confirmed the EU’s commitment to continuing its development programs in Somalia, with a focus on stabilizing areas liberated from the Kharijites (Al-Shabaab).
The EU’s continued support for Somalia’s development projects will play a significant role in the country’s ongoing stabilization efforts.
