Addis Ababa, November 20, 2023 (Addis Walta) Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed attended the Compact with Africa (CwA) Summit hosted by Germany this afternoon.
The Compact with Africa (CwA) is a central pillar of the G20 -Africa partnership that aims to promote private sector-led development by improving the conditions for private investment
Launched under the German G20 Presidency in 2017, the G20 Compact with Africa (CwA) has become a platform for dialogue and cooperation between reform-oriented African countries, G20 partners, and beyond.
The Prime Minister participated in a session focused on economic cooperation and enhancing private sector participation, according to the Office of the Prime Minister.
The member countries of the G20 Compact are Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Senegal, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Ethiopia.
