MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Fighting between two clan militias erupted near central Somalia’s Goldogob town on Monday, killing at least 5 people and wounding more than 10 others.
The gun battle over water and pasture land took place in villages near the Somali border with Ethiopia, forcing rural residents to flee their homes.
Somali authorities in central Somalia have not yet commented on the clashes.
