Addis Ababa, August 23, 2023 (Addis Ababa) The Chief Executive Officer of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) Aklilu Tadesse said that the corporation strives to create a leading Industrial Project Service (IPS) in Africa.
Speaking at the launching of the national industrial project service workshop in Addis Ababa, the CEO of IPDC pointed out that IPS is carrying out reform works to make itself a trailblazer in Africa.
The CEO added that IPDC is working to strengthen the vast experience of the service by selecting a competitive organizational structure, human resources, and technology and implementing new procedures and practices to make it a leading training and consulting service provider.
At the workshop, research papers, reports, and experiences related to the sector were presented by scholars, and a panel discussion was also held.
IPS has been providing research and consulting services in various fields for more than 40 years and gained recognition for conducting research on large national projects, including industrial parks.
The workshop was attended by ministries, institutions, consulting firms, universities, and various stakeholders, according to the IPDC report.
