Mogadishu, SONNA — The Deputy Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Adalla, together with the Director General of the Ministry of Information, visited the Hangar at Afisioni within Aden Adde International Airport, where the National Transformation Plan (NTP) Labs were showcased on their second day. During the visit, the Deputy Minister toured the Ministry’s lab, where work is underway on a five-year plan focused on media development as well as Somalia’s broader national progress.
Deputy Minister Al-Adalla commended the team’s dedication, noting their vital role in shaping the country’s future. “The plan being developed here will guide Somalia’s progress over the next five years, driving advancements across all sectors,” he remarked, emphasizing the plan’s significance in supporting national growth and unity.
This visit follows the recent launch of the NTP drafting process, officially initiated by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on October 16. The National Transformation Plan is a coordinated initiative involving officials from multiple ministries and government institutions, all working toward a comprehensive framework that will steer Somalia’s development in governance, media, infrastructure, and economic empowerment.
