Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre received a delegation led by Finland’s Minister of the Interior, Ms. Mari Rantanen, at his office in Mogadishu today.
The meeting focused on enhancing the longstanding relations and cooperation between Somalia and Finland, particularly in the area of security. Prime Minister Hamza emphasized Somalia’s progress in security, highlighting the government’s significant achievements in its fight against extremist groups.
He further noted Somalia’s increasing role in global security, following its recent election as a member of the United Nations Security Council earlier this month.
This engagement underscores the shared commitment of both nations to fostering stability and advancing mutual interests.
