Mogadishu, Somalia (SONNA) – Mr. Mustafa Sheikh Ali Dhuhulow, Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency, met with Mr. Alper Aktaş, Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, at his office. This high-level dialogue indicates the enduring partnership between Somalia and Turkey, and explored new avenues for collaboration.
Director General Dhuhulow expressed deep gratitude to the Turkish Government for its support in the nation-building efforts of Somalia. He emphasized the critical need to facilitate immigration services for Somali citizens traveling to Turkey, and highlighted the value of sharing best practices and providing training to enhance the skills of Somali immigration officers.
“We are immensely appreciative of Turkey’s continuous support. This cooperation is essential for our efforts to streamline immigration processes and improve services for our citizens,” Mr. Dhuhulow stated.
