Addis Ababa, August 2, 2024 (Addis Walta) Newly appointed 24 ambassadors were sworn in before the head of the state of Ethiopia, president Sahle-work Zewude.
The ambassadors expressed their commitment to protect the country’s national interests and carry out their duties to the best of their abilities.
The President expressed her hope that they would diligently fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Taye Atske-Selassie, emphasized that serving their country is the greatest honor and they should advance Ethiopia’s interests in both bilateral and multilateral settings, citing the extensive training they had received over the past three weeks, per MFA of Ethiopia.
