Mogadishu, [SONNA]- The Acting Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Salah Ahmed Jama, held a crucial meeting with the Vice President of the World Bank in charge of Human Development, Mrs. Mamta Murithi, who arrived in the country today.
The focus of the meeting centered on Human Capital Development {HCD} including strategic plans and initiatives aimed at enhancing Somalia’s community capacity, with discussions addressing the ongoing and prospective support from the World Bank in this developmental endeavour.
Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama emphasized the significance of collaboration in nurturing the skills and knowledge of Somali youth, highlighting the pivotal role such initiatives play in the nation’s progress.
Vice President Mamta Murithi congratulated the National Government on its notable achievements, particularly the successful completion of the country’s debt forgiveness process last year. She expressed the World Bank’s commitment to bolstering support and collaboration with various entities, including ministries and government agencies.
