Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Hamza Abdi Barre congratulated the Somali teachers on the occasion of the 21st of November which marks Somali Teachers Day, and he pointed out their resilience and importance to the Somali people in educating them even in the hard times.
The Prime Minister said that the Government will give priority to the teachers, giving them the necessary equipment and training in order to teach the children and youth.
The Government employed 3,000 new teachers early this year, and they will be in all parts of the country and has prepared the employment of 3,000 more in the 2024 budget.
