MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Wednesday visited the town of Adan Yabal in the central region of Middle Shabelle in an attempt to boost the morale of soldiers retreating from the war the frontlines.
The President is set to meet local officials and clan leaders to ask for a new military mobilization aimed at resuming an offensive against Al-Shabaab after the insurgent group reversed gains made by Somali security over the last months following a deadly attack on army camps in Osweyne village.
